Working hours in Tunisia
Ordinary full-time hours are 48 a week in Tunisia.
This is a short reading of the official rule for a typical private-sector employee. It is not legal advice. Contracts and collective agreements can give more. Open the source before you rely on a number.
The statutory floor
Default regime is 48 hours; a 40-hour reduced regime also exists. Daily cap 10 hours, 60 including overtime.
What a small company must keep
A daily record of hours actually worked, including overtime that was authorised. A clock that keeps the original punch when someone corrects it is the useful part.
What Boxento already does
People clock in and out from a phone. Managers see worked, late and overtime minutes and can approve extras. Optional GPS is only a location check, not a certified attendance book.
Boxento does not calculate statutory payroll, file with the ministry or replace a local accountant.
