Annual leave in Malaysia
The law gives a typical private-sector employee 8 working days of paid annual leave after 12 months of service in Malaysia.

The statutory floor
8 days in the first two years, 12 in years 3–4, 16 from year 5 (Employment Act).
What a small company must keep
A ledger of days earned, taken and still available, with the dates a manager approved. Inspectors ask for the file, not a spreadsheet in someone’s head.
