Annual leave in Japan
The law gives a typical private-sector employee 10 working days of paid annual leave after 6 months of service in Japan.

The statutory floor
Requires at least 80% attendance. Rises with service to 20 days.
What a small company must keep
A ledger of days earned, taken and still available, with the dates a manager approved. Inspectors ask for the file, not a spreadsheet in someone’s head.
