Annual leave in Iceland
The law gives a typical private-sector employee 24 working days of paid annual leave in Iceland.

The statutory floor
Two days per month in the holiday year (1 May–30 April). Sundays, public holidays and the first five Saturdays of the leave do not count.
What a small company must keep
A ledger of days earned, taken and still available, with the dates a manager approved. Inspectors ask for the file, not a spreadsheet in someone’s head.
What Boxento already does
