Annual leave in Costa Rica
The law gives a typical private-sector employee 2 weeks of paid annual leave in Costa Rica.

The statutory floor
Two weeks per 50 continuous weeks — about 10 days on a 5-day week, 12 on a 6-day week.
What a small company must keep
A ledger of days earned, taken and still available, with the dates a manager approved. Inspectors ask for the file, not a spreadsheet in someone’s head.
